Cocrew chiefs Bernie and Josh. They did an excellent job of managing the race.
Ashley always had a smile with a very sweet disposition. I know now why her dad called her every day.
Deborah kept the bikes in excellent working order. She even glued a couple of tubulars that had flatted. Excellent mechanic.
Kristen kept the legs working with her massages.
Pam was the all around navagator, driver, cheer leader just a very good crew member.
Louie our main navagator. All around good guy.
Clay just another all around good crew member.
Elaine always willing to help and do what needed to be done.
Ann, she took excellent care of me. Always making sure I was eating, drinking and putting cream on my butt. She always knew where my clorhes etc. were. Ann was my emotional and physical support.
Thanks everyone, best crew ever.
Wade, I couldn’t have asked for a better first RAAM experience. I’ve never seen someone more organized, motivated, and willing than you. I’m truly thankful that I got to crew for you and can’t wait to again! One of my favorite RAAM memories was when I kicked your butt running next to you on the bike to get you started on that pull in “can’s ass.”
Also, I wanted to comment on the picture below but it didn’t work. So I’ll say, I really like the way Josh’s face is hidden! If only my 5-days-without-showering look was more appealing.. But it was worth every minute of effort and lost sleep!
I had no intentions, nor any idea that I’d be so into cycling after RAAM, but it looks like I’m hooked! I’ll be seeing you soon and best wishes in your races to come! Keep me updated!
